It is odd how has hasn't been charged with anything yet. Once charged with a felony they can easily have him removed/suspended from office. BUT what seems the easiest and most appropriate reaction still hasn't taken place.

The United States doesn't follow that same rule. We have handed terrorists back to countries with the express knowledge (and expectation) that they are going to execute them.

Prison, and other prisoners can be a very unforgiving place.. especially for a 78 year old child molester. I doubt prisons around the world are any more (probably much less) "civilized" then those in the U.S. So he's in a very special type of hell.

I may be wrong, but I believe there are nationally standardized admission/graduation tests for Advance Placement courses since they typically provide some level of college credit.

It is a powerful symbol. But sadly our society doesn't mobilize around those symbols like it did in the past. We look at the image and scream "inhumanity" and "outrage", but everyone will click to the next story (or go back to working at their desk) and quickly forget about this.

It has nothing to do with guns either. If the kids played the game by throwing chalk bags to mark each other they would still complain that it was dangerous and inappropriate. This is all about control and conformity. Schools don't want anything they have not implemented or control.
